Together, we have worked in almost every aspect of the elevator industry. That is how we knew that owners needed someone to represent their interests.
JSG Elevator Consultants, LLC was formed in 2002. Michael Fagan and the JSG team have combined experience of over 100 years in the business. Together, they use their expertise to adjust the balance of power away from elevator service companies and toward owners, operators, and managers.
Michael began working on elevators for Westinghouse Elevator at age 21 and has been working in the elevator industry ever since. Over the last 50 years, he’s had his hands on in the business from construction, repair, maintenance, project management, to oversight, for design and modernization, and as a contractor. He led engineering teams with numerous high rise projects in New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco. When you meet Michael, you’ll see he’s a straight shooter who will happily share the benefit of his expertise.
Frank has worked for some of the biggest elevator service companies in the US. And that is why he is thrilled to be part of an independent consulting firm. According to Frank, the sales quotas and vague contracts that dominate the elevator business these days really muddy the waters, and he is happy to take on the role of clearing things up. In addition to his work with JSG, Frank is currently president of the Northern California Elevator Industry Group (NCEIG)..
Jill’s 20 years experience in the industry with major companies and as a customer service & account manager gives her a special understanding of customer needs. This experience combined with her Masters in Psychology background helps her develop winning strategies in her consulting and analysis for client issues to be resolved by JSG.
Frank has forty years experience in the elevator trade. He has a rich history in elevators having worked in New York City in notable mentions such as the Empire State & Chrysler Buildings, Macys Herald Square and others. He served as Assistant Chief Elevator Inspector in Miami Dade County and other major leadership roles in the elevator industry throughout the country. Frank has been a consultant and inspector for the past two decades and holds multiple Nationally accredited licenses such as a National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities (NAESA) Qualified Elevator Inspector Supervisor.
